Elica Almeida is a licensed Registered Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida. Since 2018, she has been trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), a highly effective approach to helping couples strengthen their relationships. Additionally, Elica is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a therapy that treats patients with trauma, anxiety, and depression disorders.

As an educator and speaker, Elica trains couples to develop and maintain connected, long-lasting relationships. She has also received training in hypnotherapy from the Omni Hypnosis Training Center (OHTC), expanding her therapeutic skill set. Elica holds a Bachelor's degree in Theological Studies, which complements her work as a therapist.

Fluent in three languages, Elica is able to serve a diverse clientele. She is a dedicated mother of three biological children and three step-children, and is actively involved in her large family and church community, where she serves as an interpreter and worship leader.
